This course can last from 6-10 weeks. Topics covered are:
- Greetings including the alphabet
- Family signs eg names, age, relationship, descriptions and where everyone lives
- Numbers including numbers in context – age, time, cost, duration
- Weather
- Timelines
- Countries
- School subjects – What subjects they are studying for their GCSE/A-Levels
- Hobbies – What is their favourite hobby, why, where, who with and when?
- Food&Drink
- Daily Routine – Days of the week
- A Deaf Awareness session – understanding and knowledge of Deaf History and Deaf Culture including the rules of language – BSL structure, grammar and syntax.
